Our Approach

Exposure

Early exposure is key to generating interest within minority students at young ages. By exposing middle school students to hands-on experiments and activities, we aim to not only fabricate deeper understandings of science concepts but hope to develop strong problem-solving skills and foster a love for experimentation and innovation within the students.

Promoting Interest

By exposing students to STEM activities, we aim to not only develop valuable skills within the students but also promote interest that increases students' intentions towards STEM careers.

Representation

Representation matters. It is important that minority students have role models that share their identities. By introducing black STEM professionals and mentors to the students, we aim to not only educate and increase their awareness of STEM avenues but also inspire them on what the future could hold.
